Winscribe BPM Technology
Based on the latest technology from Microsoft
Winscribe is proud to be a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. As a Gold Partner, we participate in a number of Microsoft’s early-adopter programs and work closely with them to develop new technologies. As a direct result of these efforts, we developed Winscribe BPM using the .NET Framework, Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
.NET is Microsoft’s framework for producing Windows-based applications. By being .NET-based, your developers will be able to create and extend the functionality of Winscribe BPM with skills they already have. In addition, Winscribe offers a Software Development Kit (SDK) and Visual Studio templates to make it even easier for you to rapidly develop your own custom components or complex processes.
Rather than build a proprietary workflow engine to power Winscribe BPM, we chose to incorporate WF, a robust and native workflow engine developed by Microsoft. This strategic decision allows us to eliminate a large portion of the development and maintenance costs associated with other BPM products – which we pass as savings to you. This strategic decision also allows Winscribe to focus development resources into creating functionality that derives value for your business.
Finally, utilizing WCF, Winscribe can help you further leverage your existing IT investments by connecting Winscribe BPM with popular Microsoft products such as Outlook, as well as external legacy systems. By allowing these systems to pass data directly, your employees can initiate processes and perform tasks within the tools they already use on a daily basis.
