Anapath Diagnostics Improves Report Turnaround Time by Switching to WinScribe Digital Transcription

Chicago, February 7, 2007 – AnaPath Diagnostics the first, and now the largest pathology practice in Wyoming, is experiencing immediate benefits following roll-out of the WinScribe digital dictation software solution.

With on average over 150 reports daily, fast and accurate transcription turnaround is critical for maintaining a high level of customer service. Reports were previously being recorded and transcribed using an old analog tape system. Issues surrounding tapes such as poor sound quality as well as jobs sometimes being lost were resulting in Doctors wasting time by dictating their reports twice.

Transcriptionists now type up the physicians’ reports before they have given them the paperwork, which is resulting in improved productivity levels.

User buy-in has also been easy, even for those who are sometimes hesitant to adopt new technology. “We have a physician who does not take change easily and surprisingly even he felt very good about it after 3 days!” adds Cindy.
