The Duke Endowment Switches to WinScribe Digital Dictation for Improved Workflow Management

Chicago, January 31, 2007 – The Duke Endowment, a private North Carolina based  foundation has rolled out the WinScribe digital dictation software solution at its Charlotte offices.

The Duke Endowment serves the people of North Carolina and South Carolina by supporting selected programs of higher education, health care, children's welfare, and spiritual life.

The Endowment took the opportunity to update its existing dictation system as part of an IT strategy to improve workflow management across the organization and enhance client service levels.

The decision to go with WinScribe follows a careful evaluation of other systems. WinScribe was found to have the most comprehensive functionality, as well as a good reputation for providing high quality customer support.

The installation was carried out by WinScribe’s North Carolina based supplier, Tekton. Toni Roof, Senior Administrative Assistant, comments:I spent a lot of time researching what to look for in a digital dictation solution and WinScribe simply met our requirements. It has all the functionality we need as well as fantastic ongoing support.”
