Step One:
Doctor uses mobile device to access patient information, create and send dictation
Doctor uses their iPhone to dictate a medical report. He signs into the patient schedule & realises that the job is urgent. Doctor attaches patient demographics to the report and immediately sends dictation back to the office with a high level priority.
Step Two:
Dictation is sent to a typist to be transcribed
Provided an internet connection is present, dictation is immediately sent back to an available typist. Winscribe will automatically bump up the job in the typing queue so that it is transcribed immediately.
Step Three:
Off site doctors & managers can track jobs through to completion
Off site doctors & managers can gain reassurance by monitoring job progress on their mobile device. Jobs can be escalated or reallocated if documents are at risk of missing a deadline.
- Immediate transfer of dictation to typist: Winscribe MD allows dictations completed on mobile to be immediately transferred to a specific typist or typing pool. As dictation is transferred in real time, workloads are evened out throughout the day to eliminate the underutilisation of typists when physicians are on the move.
- Eliminate overdue reports by prioritising important dictation: Before sending off dictation, set a priority on your job to ensure that the job will be automatically bumped up the typing queue for urgent completion.
- Access to patient information on the go: Dictate into a mobile template that retrieves patient schedules and demographics. Doctors can select patient information from a census list of their patients, patients in their department or all patients. As doctors can control the content of their dictation, transcription speed and accuracy is increased.
- Reassurance for physicians and managers on the go: Off-site physicians and managers can monitor the progress of incomplete dictation sitting in the typing queue. Management working off site can use their mobile to escalate and reallocate jobs that are at risk of missing a deadline.
