Winscribe And Philips Form A Powerful Document Management Partnership At Management In Practice London

3 August 2010 - Winscribe and Philips will be teaming up at the Management in Practice show at London’s Business Design Centre on 1 September  2010 to demonstrate the very latest innovations in digital dictation and workflow management.

The free event, one of a series held in London, Birmingham and Manchester each year, is dedicated to enhancing knowledge of critical issues and responding to the dramatic changes the NHS is undergoing. Conferences cover a wide range of core topics with influential speakers sharing ideas, while an exhibition gives visitors exclusive access to the latest innovations from a range of service providers.

Among the key topics addressed on the day will be regulation and compliance, security of patient information and effective data management, and Winscribe and Philips will demonstrate how Trusts can achieve major advances in these areas through digital dictation and workflow management. Please find us at stand No 45 in the Exhibition area.

Winscribe Dictation is a top-to-bottom digital dictation and workflow solution that brings document control, visibility and flexibility to the dictation, transcription and signoff process for patient records, letters and notes. A combination of reduced error rates and swifter document turnaround can bring significant savings.

Winscribe Dictation is fully compliant with the HL7 health industry standard and integrates with HIS, RIS and EPR systems. It can be can be used to dictate and transcribe either onsite or elsewhere through a LAN/WAN, internet or telephone connection.

Winscribe Dictation allows both authors and typists to work at any time, from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Authors are able to review their typing resource in real time, changing typists and job priority as necessary to optimise the typing job queue.

Winscribe Dictation works equally well with dictations taken from a PC, a touch-tone telephone or smartphone, or a hand-held digital recorder, such as the Philips SpeechMike, which will available for visitors to try out at the stand.

It also houses the SpeechMike AirBridge receiver module which handles speech data from the dictation device wirelessly from a range of up to 10 meters.
